It's Great To Be 8!!

Can you believe my babies are 8? Where does the time go? They had kind of a chill birthday this year, dinner with Mom and Dad and an ice cream cake. We'll give them a 1/2 birthday party in the summer when they can do a little more with their friends. They also chose to be baptized as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are very proud of them and all they have accomplished.

Yay, it's 2016 and already I'm behind! I had made a "resolution" to do better with blogging this year but obviously it's like all those other pesky resolutions and has already gone by the wayside. Oh, well, might as well start now and see how it goes!

Sandy Beach - Summer 2015

We bought an inflatable kayak big enough for me, A, and E, and took it to the sandy beach at Lucky Peak State Park. We went with our next-door neighbors, who also have an inflatable kayak, so we could have "water wars" which was the kids favorite part (besides the traditional post-sandy beach trip to Westside Drive In and some Miss Emily milkshakes!

Kids half-birthday party - July 22, 2015

The kids' half-birthday fell on July 22, so we decided to throw them a small party. They each invited one friend to Wahooz Family Fun Center in Meridian, where we played video games, ate pizza, and played laser tag. We all had a great time!
